Blog Introduction

Hello, thank you for viewing my blog. I am called Zhao Jiayi (8) from Class 5K in Nanyang Primary School. For my ISO project, I have chosen IRS because of my interest in it. My IRS project is about the importance of preserving Chinese dialects -- the root of our Chinese heritage. Due to the billingual policy in Singapore, many families have neglected Chinese dialects, encouraging their children to focus more on Chinese and English. If any action is not taken, Chinese dialects might become extinct after a few years, affecting our long Chinese heritage as well as the future generations. Thus, I decided to create this blog to promote the need to preserve Chinese dialects. Feel free to comment so that I may improve. Thank you for your attention.
